Brown outs

Did anyone stop yesterday to think that comparing our outdated systems yesterday that failed in one foul swoop to that of a developing country could actually be insulting to a "developing country"? Anything happens to our infrastructure and we suddenly become third world. PANIC! Sheesh. Auckland drivers are lunatics even with traffic lights. Nothing changes there. A German friend's family rang her to see if her house was still standing. Just for info: the snow, rain, roofs flying off and power outage did not all happen in Auckland. Snow and roofs falling off in the South Island, rain, wind and power outage in Auckland...very nice day to snuggle in bed actually. Luckily am not a farmer.
