I got a bit bored and wanted to do something with this other than publish my random musings so decided to start from a clean slate. It was a spur of the moment thing. I'm not sure whether it was a very wise thing to do, considering my current lack of inspiration. Time will tell. However...here's a good book though don't believe the reviewer at the end. I do agree over it being essential reading but Andrew Thomson getting fired for the book it just a very popular rumour, and sensationalist. I have heard other theories.

Adventures

I am getting addicted to coming and leaving, and my year is marked by the next monitoring trip for work. In this spirit, there are three things I have been thinking about doing lately and now is the time, but I need some gutsy companions.

1. Go to Bhutan. Has the only capital city in the world with no traffic lights. It costs 200USD a day to go there which includes acommodation, food, guide etc.

2. Walk Ghandi's Salt March. One month of walking across India. Imagine the wise, annoying, caring, bossy and just plain fascinating people you'd meet. Can't do it this year but apparently they do it every year.

3. Go to the World Social Forum (WSF). My friend's description of it in Brasil this year was amazing. More and more I think that the real world exists beyond the formal structures and rules we have constructed for ourselves, the organic WSF being the living example.

Think for next year WSF (March 2006), Ghandi and Bhutan at the end of 2006, or mid 2007. Anyone game?
